I'm guessing you're over your trucks GVWR buy 800lbs. Your dry pin is more than your trucks payload capacity. Add 150-200lbs for a slider hitch. Now that 1440lb brochure pin weight is 1660lbs. Now add you and your wife at 300lbs, now your at 1960lbs. You haven't even loaded anything in the front bedroom or added propane, and whatever you will put in the front cargo area. Add 300lbs for stuff. Could easily be more. Now your at 2260lbs. 2260-1400(CCC)=860lbs. Keep telling yourself you're okay if you just drive slow and pray a lot. I'd rather have enough truck so I don't have to drive like I have a bowl of fish in the front seat. I'd suggest you look at your trucks door sticker for the CCC rating. Load up the 5'er and then hit the scales.
