If you have a 1/2 ton that is any where near 1,000# over GVWR you have some serious issues!!
Springs, brakes, Rear Axle, I will give you a pass on tires as you upgraded to E's.
Toyota still uses a semi floating axle, so all you have is one small wheel bearing riding on the axle to support that over load, not my cup of tea.
Just because you can get it to set level with adding Timbers (or Air Bags) doesn't change the design on the rear axle, still a weak semi floating unit.
Tundra's and newer F150 are physically big but light, which means they don't have physical strength to handle that load.
Can't wait to see the scale results, we might all be surprised.
I have never owned a 1/2 ton semi floating rear axle pickup for a reason!
