Hangs vortex 2 fan question.

Have you taken off the trim ring? There might be wires there routed around the hole. I added a fantastic fan to replace the standard roof vent and got power from one of the wires going around it.

Make sure to add one of the Vent Covers, that way you can leave the vent open in the rain.....

I hooked mine up to a small solar panel so it can vent out some of the hot air while in the storage yard.

Yup, just like they said. It can be a little annoying too fish through insulation. I just installed a light above my pantry and tied it in to the wiring for my bathroom fan. I have some fiberglass wire fishing poles that I used to push through insulation. Worked fine, took about 5 minutes to install a new light and we LOVE it thus far.
