We have a 21' Shadow cruiser, and tow it with a Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 3L diesel, it tows the trailer no problem, if I hook the trailer up to my 2005 Chev pick up that has the 4.8L gas , that thing screams, and always looking for a gear.
The Jeep grand Cherokee has a 7000LB towing capacity, so I have lots to spare.
To us this is an awesome set up.
The only problem is Jeep only had the diesel (Mercedes) for 3 years.
But Later this year or (2014 auto year)the Jeep comes out with a new 3.0L dies from Fiat motori, and I believe the Dodge ram pick up as well.
