I tow 20,000+ miles per year with it. For work I tow a 6'x12' enclosed cargo trailer. For vacations, see my TT below, a 16' KZ weighing about 2700 lbs.
Yes, a HL should handle that FunFinder pretty well. For good handling I would say not to go longer than 20'. And don't expect to race anyone up steep grades. ;)
