Wonder if there are 300,000 ram owners who aren't happy?
Ouch, I sure am happy I don't own a RAM! Can you say resale value will be going into the toilet?
A couple of very mature, positive and constructive quotes.
Prior to buying my Ram, I've owned 5 Suburbans and several Fords and had no interest in buying a Dodge. Several trucks from both GM and Ford were subject to recalls. I was stranded by my GMC Suburban due to an electrical system failure and my diesel Excursion died right in the middle of a busy intersection due to a CPS failure/vulnerability. No manufacturer is perfect.
I note that virtually all of the recalled Chrysler vehicles were engineered before the Fiat acquisition of Chrysler.
I researched all three HD pickup makes and made the decision to buy a 2015 RAM 2500. Other than a faulty TPS (dealer replaced all 4 no charge under warranty) and the security software update that I did myself, I've had absolutely no issues. Many passengers comment about how the truck has a luxury ride. The Cummins has the best output and fuel mileage in the class.
I have no regrets and would buy another in a heartbeat.
