I researched all three HD pickup makes and made the decision to buy a 2015 RAM 2500. Other than a faulty TPS (dealer replaced all 4 no charge under warranty) and the security software update that I did myself, I've had absolutely no issues. Many passengers comment about how the truck has a luxury ride. The Cummins has the best output and fuel mileage in the class.
I have no regrets and would buy another in a heartbeat.
Ditto. The buyback thing is irrelevant as it relates to the newer HD Rams as they have a completely redesigned suspension. None of these new diesels are perfect and it's up to each buyer to pick out what matters to them and what doesn't. To me the Ram had the best mix of features and drivetrain available when I bought, and so far I don't regret it.
Had I bought before the last Ram redesign, I probably would have a Powerstroke if it was in the 6.7 era. Had I bought in the 6.4/6.0 era, I'd have a GM or Ram. I'm not brand loyal at all so to me vehicle purchases are moving targets.
