- RVman3252ExplorerThis ol' boy is happy with his RAM... I had a '95 V-10... then wanted a quad-cab so in '98 bought a V-10 Quad Cab and drove it for 18 years... Just bought a 2012 3500 SRW Crew Cab with Cummins and tickled to death with it... Yep, I like my RAM's... nothing bad about the other brands and believe me if you really think one is more USA parts then the other, we'll keep drinking the Kool-aid... LOL

Several weeks ago I was driving a charter bus that the governor is set for 73 mph. I ran a pretty good distance with a Ram 2500 pulling a large 5ver that was having no problem keeping up with me. I was sure that it had a Cummins until he passed me and I saw the "Hemi" on the fender!

. . . A couple of computer updates at the dealer - but no real warranty work. . . . .
I just go to http://www.driveuconnect.com/support/ramtrucks/ and download and install the updates myself.

My 'lil 1500 grocery getter tows my 20ft trailer like a dream :)
^^X2!
The Hemi is a solid towing machine with respectable mpg - averaged about 12.7mpg at 62mph hand-calculated over the last 750 miles of towing the trailer. And a little "hemi-foot" from time to time is good for the soul... :B - csamayfield55xExplorerI just realized my sig picture has my old 99 in it with my trailer I just let go
Chris - csamayfield55xExplorerWell, my 08 I have had from the first day has been a brute of a truck! it has spent more miles overloaded than not and never given me a lick of trouble. It turned over 100K last month and just for that she got a new gooseneck hitch and a 5er to pull behind. Once we start getting a little older it is nice to be a little more refined!
BTW, we have owned a 98 cummins (brother still has, a 99 I sold to get my 08 my Dad has a 04, Mom has an 07, my 08 Brother has a 10 and my FIL has a 12!!
We love our big C trucks
