As you can see in my signature, we have the same set-up as you. The thing that bothers me about the NL is it is pulling weight off the front so we have 6,700 lbs. on the rear axle which indicates that the COG of the NL is not really in front of the rear axle. Our total weight with full tanks, full fridge, etc., is 10,620 but with the 2017, the truck weight is less with the aluminum build. We did get the rear electric awning and AGM batteries which add to the weight.
Can't believe they don't include a medicine cabinet in the Sportsman edition - we glued a mirror on so at least we have that. Overall, it is a beautiful unit, and as you said, the truck handles it well.
