It is a small tank, but even bone dry it will not accept water...
I am pretty sure the correct capacity is 20G in the tank and 6G hot water... Not much, but small light trailer is what I wanted for this trip

I have the same issue as the OP on my new TH (never had an issue on my prior 3 RV's). It is like the vent hose is kinked as it stops filling after 5 minutes (I timed it) and can confirm my garden hose is not filling a 125 ga water tank that quick. The quick solution I found was to NOT use the yellow hose attachment but rather to just hold the end of the garden hose tight against the intake. The tank gets to the point it wants to puke out the opening but the force of the water seems to overcome what might be a restriction in the vent and all the sudden it spits and vents air out the tube and all is well after that. Long term plan is to tear into it and figure out a kink or improper routing of the hoses. Frustrating that something so simple cannot work right.
