If you need 110v power that late while boondocking, consider getting an extra battery or two, and a relatively inexpensive inverter.
I hate generator noise. While I do carry both an Eu1000 and a Eu2000, I have several batteries and a large solar array through two different inverters, a 1.8Kw in my trailer and a 2.0Kw in my TC. I try my best to go by the "silence is golden" rule. Nothing frosts my hide more than to go camping out in the great outdoors and hear some generator running just so the kids can play their Nintendo or watch Spongebob all night long.
