, I am using single 110Ah battery (spare for our car). Still good for boiling cup of coffee and water pump for the rest of the day.
yeah...that is a head scratcher...
The loose questions/answer on the side of the topic sometimes go out of had, but what is so strange about making out a cup of coffee while running inverter from 110 A-h battery?
Coming to noise, I had situation once parking my conversion on beach campground. It was in Mexico 1 hr from California border and coming back from Mexico vacations I was very sick from..... Mexican ice added to a drink.
So park in the afternoon on nice corner spot trying to get good rest before morning border cross and making 500 miles home in the same day.
Nice Friday afternoon changed a lot about 9 PM when California teenagers made it to the beach for weekend of smoking.
They set big tarp over the tables right behind my windows and put contractor grade generator under my front bumper.
We let them ran it till 10 PM, then my wife ask them to shut it down. They promptly did only to restart it at midnight.
I was laying sick on the bed, but in the morning I was trying to get my revenge by starting my 8V71 Detroit and idling it a bit longer than I really needed.
Usually when I start the Detroit, everybody steps back, but the noise was just not enough to wake up those "tired" young people.
No effect at all.
Don't know if this is 100% correct but it is my belief that folks that run their gen's/radios/ talk loud when in a group etc are not sensitive to noise when it's quiet. My wife can sleep through almost anything and she falls asleep in less than a minute.. Me, a pin drops and I hear it. A noise that wakes me will take me over an hour or more to get back to sleep....
