Like some have asked what size truck do you have.
what's the weight of the trailer?
For the two miles if you have a 2500 or bigger then wouldn't see an issue.
Your not traveling fast enough of you stay around 35 to get much sway. Yeah might make a few people upset passing you but eh.
But am surprised they wouldn't deliver it for you.
Ask them again tell them hey good for business to help out word of mouth goes a long way.
My dealership delivered my trailer to my house from over 50 miles away no charge and then installed my hitch as well with no cost to me. Wasn't a top of the line hitch but didn't charge me for it either.
Other idea is if your truck can move it ask them to borrow their WDH set up and use it to move it the distance.
But the idea of renting a truck also sounds good. Home Depot and Lowes usually Have some trucks laying around.
