The hitch I am looking at is not the hitch extension used by many pickup camper guys,it's just a normal hitch that goes into the 2" receiver on your truck but is 15" long rather than 4 or 5.
I sold my 30ft trailer and got a F-350 dually keeping in mind I had the option of a pickup camper and pull the Rhino or what I mentioned here, put the Rhino in the bed and pull a small travel trailer if the receiver hitch(15") is up to it.E-trailer says the hitch/ball is rated for 6k and 600 lbs tongue weight.
The truck is set up for a pickup camper with air bags/sway bar/mounted ties downs etc.I am really on the fence in which way to go,Rhino in the bed and travel trailer or pickup camper pulling the Rhino on the atv trailer.
It kinda boils down to whether that hitch is up to pulling a small travel trailer in the 4-5000 pound range without an equalizer setup.
