Have dealership service depts gone downhill lately, or...

...or is it just the dealers here in Tulsa that are so lousy? I hope things are better elsewhere! I always took my Toyota to the dealerships for regular maintenance, but after it had about 125,000...

That's why I only use dealers for warranty work. I would never use them for maintenance or out of pocket repairs. Friend is a service writer at a big dealership. Gets a cut of everything he sells. Makes $100K a year. Who pays his salary? Correct; you do.

Find an honest local mechanic. Lots of them out there.
