The only reason that I would want bigger is to have a more comfortable place to sit. I know you can sit outside but sometimes we want to be inside and the dinette is not a real comfortable place rest at. Many times after a while in the dinette I will move to the bed for more comfort. Our pup who lays beside me at the dinette will join me in the bed and stretch out also. Of course she can't be to far anyway from me anytime. In fact she is with me in my recliner right now. She things she is a lap dog at 40#.
If I was to look at a new camper it would be either the Adventure 116DS (that you are looking at) or the 1172 Lance. They both have a more comfortable place to sit down in. Of course when we go it is the wife and our dog going also.
