Our camper is a single slide 10-2" (+ 6" for bumper). Using a 40" extension I tow a 16'x 7' enclosed trailer (heavy ATV's & misc junk) almost without ever noticing it (mirrors the reminder). When not in tow, I generally just leave the extension in place as truck is 4wd and sits a bit high, so why even fuss...As far as 'Heavy' goes, I've added 2 leafs (so now at about at 4500 spring capacity), and Superspring Sway stops to engage the factory overloads. From my perspective, as far as TC size goes (in context of an F450...), consideration of one's needs and camping style should trump maneuverability - of which should detract by little...We love our EC995 because it works well for two of us, but IF I HAD TO replace it (XX), I must admit that the extreme luxury of theater seating might well be something on our 'A' list...
