The wide spectrum under which TC's may be used makes choosing a "perfect" size a compromise.
The Adventurer 116 DS will be perfect for much of the travel that you've outlined.
But there may be times when you will see the advantage of a small compact slide-in camper.
Such as the "Going to the sun road" in Glacier NP or certain out-back roads in Utah, etc.
Even an F450 can be near or over it's technical payload capacity when carrying a fully loaded large size truck camper.
To answer your question; Yes. . .I sometimes wish that I had a SWR truck and pop-up camper.
Its an expanding universe of adventure.
