HEAD LAMP BULB CONFUSION ?

Have you looked in the owners manual? It usually lists the correct bulb.

Did you check the owners manual?

There should be a chart of all the industry standard part numbers of headlight, turn and marker lights just to name a few..

Take the number listed to your local Walmart or auto parts store and get that number..

You can't go wrong by doing it that way and will ensure you are not blinding oncoming traffic by using the wrong bulb..

The lower priced ones are close to OEM. Take your pick, O'Reilly's here will install.
Kia low beam

I've had real good luck with NAPA "Street Glow" bulbs.

Remember, these are halogen lamps so you do not want to touch the glass with your skin. Use a Kleenex type tissue or toilet paper. If you touch the glass use alcohol to clean it good.

I searched the owners book and could not locate it. Is there a universal number to go by? Every bulb builder seems to have their own number so you go back to them. Also what is your opinion on those super bright bulbs?

H7 is the base lamp. The other codes indicate style, color. They are all 55 watt halogen.
Take the bad one out and take it with you. There should be numbers on it. Normally on the metal collar or etched in the glass.
What is the store that you get your parts? I maybe able to give stock number.

OK, do you have projector headlights (Basically looks like an eye ball)? or just a regular reflector housing (basically just a mirror focusing the light)? As noted by enblethen, H7 is for the reflector housing. If you have the projector housing, then you need an H11 bulb. This is for low beams of course. This is by going through Rockauto's catalog for your vehicle.

Look up the bulb here.

1. Take the old bulb out.
2. Go to your local Walmart, Advance Auto, Autozone, Oreilly's, Napa, or Carquest.
3. Buy the same thing.
4. Buy another one for the other side.
5. Put the new bulb in.

Odds are you have "standard" bulbs in your car.

This is a situation where it's better to be in a brick-n-mortar store where you can look at the packages side-by-side. Not everything has to be ordered from Amazon.
