heading to southern utah and desert trip concert

Hi First time going to southern Utah and Balloon festival in new mexico and then onto Indio for the desert trip concert on oct 14 15 16 . Any must see places along the way, leaving from vancouver Also...

We started our SE Utah trip at 9 mile canyon. I wanted to see petroglyphsome and explore the area. It was incredible and hopefully like spring, there should be wildlife moving around in the fall. Spent 2 nights in a private (only) campground around and hired the owner to lead us out and about. Life time experience!
