I recently heard a rumor that you should change your tires every 2 years or so. This basically applies to the cheapies (tires not people). Have any of you heard this before?
I ran my original tires for 5 years. I replaced them after getting a flat caused by construction debris (sharp piece of metal pierced one of them), but had been planning to replace them at the end of the season anyway. They were 7 years past their manufacture date.
