Heartland 26rls Towel Rack

Just trying to figure out what to do about hanging towels in the bathroom.

Only wall is behind the toilet and the width is less than 16 inches.
Have thought about cutting down a standard 18 inch towel bar to fit but don't like the idea of hanging over the john.

I did buy a spring shower curtain rod to put in the shower. This works okay but I have to take wife's towel down to shower.

Biggest dislike about this trailer is the size of the bathroom and lack of places to put a towel rack in that is out of the way.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
  • Thanks for the tips. Appreciate it.

We had the same trailer layout in a 2007 Jayco 28RLS but had more room in the bathroom.

The 2013 Heartland 26LRS is the same trailer but I think they made the bedroom larger and the bathroom a bit smaller.

Don't let those numbers fool you, both trailers are 30' 2" inches bumper to bumper.

Both trailers are great but the Heartland followed us around the country. First saw it at an RV Show in Daytona, then at a dealership in NH and finally succumbed at Camping World in Nashville.

We have only used it a few times but hope to get it on the road in August and also try a bit of camping near home.

Again, thanks for the tips. Happy Camping
  • We tried the over the door bracket, with hooks and just did not like how the towel hang (and fall off). So we went wth actual towel bars fro Home Depot (Pegasus).

We use it to place folded towels and wash clothes on the shelves and hang a damp one from the round bar on the bottom. It matched the fixtures as well

** what did you do to hang this? I'm assuming its different than the walls at home....
