Heartland MPG 183

Question

Does anyone know why heartland stopped producing the Heartland MPG 183?
Was it because of quality issues or lack of sales or what? I am interested in a small travel trailer and this might work for me but I am concerned about not seeing any around.

I heard they were being sued by RPOD (Forest River).  Their site has a survey saying they may start producing again if they get enough responses, I guess.

Keep shopping is what I would suggest.   If you are intent on that one, there are used ones out there for sale.

We looked at the MPG and really liked it except for the wet bath.  The RV dealer told us the wet bath was a big deal killer for a lot of people, and they were going to stop selling them.  This was a few years ago.
