Heater questions
How much do I need to take apart to clean? Is it normal to have a brick next to the heater? The brick was there when I pulled the heater.

Heater appeared to be installed as it should have been, it was screwed to the opening. The brick was beside the heater which I "assumed" was a heat barrier as it offered no support to the heater.

I have had several RV's and no brick.
The cases of the furnace are "0" clearance and so should have no reason for brick.
