Hello everyone. Newbie here with a questions for everyone

Being a big guy myself (6'3", and let's just say 300+), the slide out bed has not been a major inconvenience at all. The trade off for any inconvenience at all was that we got a comfortable (well, comfortable for an rv bed, anyway) king sized bed, which is hard to find in a TT. We own the Keystone Outback 280RS.
As already stated, your tow vehicle will be a major determining factor in what you can purchase. Good luck!
