some super quick math.
lets assume your AC draws 10a at 120v, and runs for 4 hours. That's 10a x 120v x 4h = 4800Wh.
In batteries, figure each 6v golf cart style battery has roughly 100ah x 6v to give in normal usage, that's 600Wh. You'd need 8 6v batteries (at ~65# each, so 520 pounds of lead) to get up to 4800Wh.
Seems totally doable! :B
