Great idea, but let's see how they execute it. Italian diesel engines doesn't sound very hopeful.
Chrysler is carrying Fiat these days, so there ain't alot of development money.
Pretty bold statement...hows your Fiat history? Or for that matter hows your diesel engine history?
Ask Grandpa, about Fiat and the good ole US of A, around 1910, back in Poughkeepsie, NY. There was a licensed plant making Fiats for the rich and famous. As for diesel engines, Rodulf and the boys across the pond were using diesel engines long before ole Henry Ford was on his knees begging the Dodge boys for start up money...
