Forget the Laredo and just buy the SRT8 version!
Yes it costs more and yes it tows less than the V8 or the diesel but come on........How could you not love the idea of the SRT8 version with much much more POWAAAAAHHHHH!!!!

- Rates with the best
While for many the extra expense of the top-spec Grand Cherokee won’t be justifiable, if you’re planning on doing a lot of towing, the ride-leveling air suspension fitted to the Overland could make it worth it; not counting all the other goodies included.
Throw in the effortless grunt and 3.5 tonne towing capacity that comes with the turbo-diesel engine, and you have a tow tug that rates up there with the best.

This is my 3rd Grand and i truly rate this CRD better than the 5.7 Hemi i had last. I have seen some comments on forums that suggest a lack of consistent build because i have had nothing to complain about since i bought the car 4 years ago but maybe the poor owner

On the wide low-tide expanses of Moreton’s ocean-side beaches the diesel delivered good pace. Jeep claims it’s quicker 0-100km/h than either the V6 or V8 petrols (8.2sec v 9.1 and 8.7 respectively) and we’re not about to argue. Sand sucks power but the CRD GC rarely seemed short (
