Someone is playing with the HP numbers if those times are correct. When this engine comes out all the manufacture lying will stop. They will be forced to put up the correct numbers and stand by them or look dumb.
If the HP numbers I have put up end up being correct or close there is no way a 100HP advantage will be overcome. Just not going to happen and it's not even going to be close. The EB driver will have already drank his beer by the time the oil burner gets to to top of eisenhower. :B
Just because it's a diesel does not magically make it tow better or give it more power. The advantage the diesel will have will be mileage solo and towing. Both will be somewhere around 30% better then it's gasoline sister.
