A financial justification means a lower cost of ownership and operation. Slightly lower fuel useage coupled with a likely 4k initial upcharge and taxes and interest on that 4k combined with 40 cents more per gallon will probably not result in a payback during the life cycle of the truck so there is no financial justifiction there.
The eco and the ram diesel will both get better mpg than the chev 6.2, hemi 5.7, ford 6.2 and toyota 5.7. Whats the price surcharge for the eco over the 3.7? $2400.00 Have to wait and see waht Ram does on pricing before we jump to conclusions.
Taco, you sure about that statement??? When I am turning about 1,200 to 1,300 rpm, going up hill and give my 5.9 throttle, and it picks up speed it isn't HP at that RPM, it is almost all torque! I am not talking slow pickup either, I talking keeping up with normal traffic, will 11,000# in tow. This is Lincoln City, GoDucks should know this well.
