Makes sense, but if it actually put out any decent Horsepower, I doubt it would put up those good fuel economy figures. Your weight is right at what a F150 Crew Cab 4WD truck weighs.
I guess if you would rather have economy over performance, that's good. The torque will definitely get you rollin but the horsepower is what keeps you rollin and I can see it straining pretty bad during passes, off ramps, and hills. But then again so did the rigs I used to drive so just make sure you have a lot of patience and don't mind riding the right lane.
For people not use to having low horsepower for climing, passing, and accelerating, it most likely will be a deal killer, but for people use to driving slow commerical rigs, it may have a market.
