Thanks so much for the post, it came at a really good time as I am currently contemplating the same install on my 2013 RAM truck (dually).
My only hesitation is what effect it will have in handling when off- road, in the extent one can off road with a TC. I am familiar with your travels and off road in some of those same areas and conditions so your experience with the sway bar in those conditions will be of great interest.
My fear is, since a sway-bar limits axle articulation, that when off- roading and you come upon rutted/off camber roads, will the sway bar pull the truck into these anomalies instead of the tire articulating down into them. I sure wouldn't want to shift the COG over more than it already does when driving those kinds of roads. As you know most off-roaders will disconnect their sway-bars when things get interesting.
Our trucks, so very unfortunately, are too new for us to put any aftermarket shocks on like KYB MonoMax's or Rancho RS900XL's or Bilstein's yet (I check daily). Such shock upgrades would certainly help in handling typical TC sway issues.
I respect and look forward to your opinion.
