I know, it’s really a shame. I guess “built to last a lifetime” is not a good business model for repeat customers. Actually I also read that the CampLite will switch over to all-steel construction under the Venture brand.
Aside from the build quality, what I really like about your TT is the upscale modern yet warm look of the cabinetry and the furniture. It doesn’t have that outdated “grandma’s house” look that most TT’s uniformly share, with the drab walls and 80s fabrics, cheap looking cabinets and trim, and the AWFUL window valences. Yours represents how TT decor SHOULD have evolved after the 70s/80s but for some reason never did.
Also, little things that bother me about the TTs on my short list — only 1 bunk window (or sometimes none), single axle when the TT weight dictates there should be 2, no bathroom sink — Livin Lite thought to include all that stuff!
The 21bhs does not have a sink in the bathroom but I don't find it a problem.
Used ones are out there and depending on age and options prices aren't bad. Check rvtrader and rvt, there are also a few dedicated forums for livinlite and aluminum campers in general with for sale sections so you might find one there.
Aside from the rigidity of the overall structure I love the fact that there is pretty much no worries about water. Still have to do the regular maintenance but if something goes wrong the camper won't be destroyed.
Might have to drive to get one, I drove 4 hours one way to get mine at a dealer (I bought new)
