My father owns a Funfinder 139, I think older than '07 but I'm not positive. My wife and I used the heck out of it until we had kids, lots of fun and has all the features in a tiny package. the downside is it is a tiny package. I don't think I'd like to live in it full time! My folks drove it from Montana to Alaska and then took a ferry with it back home. They loaned it out to family for a drive to Alaska and back as well. I remember the gray tank being small capacity and it would often fill up to the point of backing up out of the floor/shower drain in the bathroom. This could also have been a factor of learning to use a camper off grid responsibly, minimizing water use, etc. The master bed is the kind you have to break down the dining table for. This gets old very fast, we would just leave it in bed mode full time and use a tiny fold out table and chair or eat outside. I don't have any experience with R-Pods, but I wouldn't put any faith in an aerodynamic camper claim. Unless it is a pop-up low profile setup while towing, I doubt you're going to see "better" mileage. If it has a full time bed and full time dining arrangement that you don't have to setup to use, that would be a huge plus over a funfinder 139.
