Help fixing/covering boo boo on wall

Need some help/advise on covering a boo boo on the bedroom wall.
Scraped with chair a couple years ago and the wallpaper is gouged.
Thought of wall paper boarder but the height is only 30" off the floor so I was thinking of wanes coating or bead board but not sure if that would look nice or just hokey.
Please , if anyone has had this happen and what you did to make it look nice.
thanks much
  • Go inside one of the cabinets, where the back of the cabinet was installed on a wall with the same wallpaper. Cut a square sufficient to cover the boo-boo and glue it over the spot with Elmer's or wallpaper seam sealer if you have any laying around. Other good spots are under the bed, or lower kitchen cabinets. You will never see that a piece is missing from an inconspicuous location.

We replaced our bedroom sliding doors with curtains and I did this to cover the holes in the wall where the latch strikes were.

It's not invisible, but it's 95% better than it was.
