- MNRonExplorerAnother vote for tonnopro. Had ours 2.5yrs, they are cheaper than others, on/off easy and work well.
- 4bearhugExplorerI have a Rollbak G2 hard rolling tonneau that I really like. I had a Retrax on my last truck that worked OK, but I really wanted some features that it didn't have. Both work fine w/ a 5th wheel. I nearly went with Fold-a-Cover which looked like a good folding hard cover. I just liked the look of a rolling cover better when opened and it had a lower profile.
- wgriswoldExplorerThanks, everyone. Lots of good information for after I purchase the truck. That will probably happen before the end of the year.
- LantleyNomadI currently have a Backflip G2. I previously had a Retrax rolling type cover. While more convenient than the flip style covers. I found that the storage canister/tube for the cover took up too much space and was sometimes in the way
- OutdoorPhotograExplorerI've had two Flipbacks over 7 years (2 trucks). Love them. Current one is two years old. Can remove the whole thing in less than five minutes. 5-10 to put back on although need a second person. Three panels. Can flip back one or two if you need it.

My '14 Ram I bought used has an Xtang. It's a tri-fold hard cover and I love it. - polishdonExplorerExtang solid fold are great covers
- windviewerExplorerI have a new truck coming (Tundra). I was going to get a Retrax for it (that is what I currently have on my old Tundra), but the demo unit is coming with the Toyota folding cover and they gave it to me at dealer cost so I'll see how it works. But I did like the Retrax unit; It lasted 13 years with only replacing the rolling box mechanism after 10 years (it came apart in side), and the top developed a crack in the lexan after 11 years (I stop drilled it).
Retrax shipped a replacement rolling mechanism to me at the dealer price level and offered the top as well at the same price level. - petrelExplorerI use a Diamondback HD. Diamondback offers a few different configurations. I chose the HD because it can be opened from the front or the back and the two panels can be removed to expose most of the bed. Also with the HD series, you can carry just about anything you want on top of it leaving the stored items secure underneath. I've had the cover for over five years without issue, other than a torn gasket. Diamondback replaced the gasket at no charge.
- ChooChooMan74ExplorerI don't have a fold but, I love my Pace Edwards Jackrabbit with optional explorer rails.
