That really is a more accurate description than travel trailer. It never had holding tanks or fresh water tanks. And it was equipped with a tank type residential flush toilet. Stove and furnace were gas, but hot water tank and all lights were 110V. No 12 or 6 volt anything except marker and tail light and sadly no gas lanterns either (I think those are very neat).
And I had read that there was a huge proliferation of small trailers like these made following WWII for all the returning GI's and the housing shortage that followed. This trailer was towed from a dealer to a trailer court, but never likely used as a camper. And that is what makes it perfect for what we want to use it for, housing in our back yard. Hans
