HELP NEEDED, Some lights work, Others dont

I have a 2005 Keystone Outback and I have just ran into this issue. Some of the lights work and some do not. Specifically the exterior lights and the main three lights in the living space. All of these lights share the same switch location. All of the other lights that have a switch built in are working fine. All of the fuses seem to be fine, none of the lights to show a blown fuse are on. This is whether the travel trailer is plugged in or running off of battery. When plugged in, all of the outlets work as well as the air conditioning, TV and Microwave. I have tried to do my own research, but all of the information that I have found has been for if all of the lights are not working. Any information, Tips, Tricks and Help that anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.
  • If other connections are working fine except that one switch, its high possibility that you have a wiring issue behind the socket. Check any lose wiring that might resolve the issue.
  • Use a voltmeter or test light to isolate the problem. Connect a long wire to the negative lead and a good frame ground or negative battery post because you could have a open ground which will cause 12V on the ground side of the light.

I'd start at the switch. If you don't have 12V on the switch load side then the problem is upstream, otherwise it's downstream including a ground problem.

A voltmeter even a $10 one from HF is your friend.
