No pop up here, Chris. 16k lb fiver with over 4k lbs of pin weight. And yes I run 80 lbs in the front tires to carry the weight of the Cummins engine (as I'm sure you do) but the rough ride in an HD pickup comes from the rear, especially when unloaded.
If I had a 5th wheel with over 4K of pin weight(and 25% like yours) I would also own a duallie also.
OP's and my trailer both have under 2500 dry pin weight. My dry pin weight percentage is 18.8% and remains a similar percent fully loaded for full timing. Mine comes in around 3K load and I have a lot of hitch, picture frame, and stuff in the bed. I avoided Montana's and Cardinal because of the much heavier dry pin weight.
Placard for 3500 front axle 6K GAWR with LT275/70/18E's is 60 pounds inflation. That is the difference of a 17" duallie tire and 3640 rated 18" 275 wide tire.
