Although we really like the foam mattress, there oare other options. On our first rig, to replace the mattress, we went to a local mattress factory to find one. They told us to pick one of the ones they had on display, and they would make the exact same to fit the RV. Turns out the salesman/manager was an RV'er too, so he really knew what we needed. Not only did they make one the size we needed, he considered that we had to sit on the bottom and side edges a lot for dressing and such, and added extra support springs to the edges. Cost was not any more than for the standard ones.
