E350 vans are limited to 10,000 pounds by the stock receiver. Upgrade to a class 5 and you can use the full GCWR. An 8-passenger E350 could have close to 3,500 pounds of payload, depending on how it was ordered since GVWR do range from 8600-9500 pounds.
The V10 with 4.10 gears = 18,500 GCWR
The diesel with with 4.10 gears = 20,000 pounds.
For the Chevy vans:
6.0 gas = 16,000 GCWR (probably not enough for a giant bunkhouse)
Duramax = 17,000 GCWR
