You are right that was a poor choice of words, I should have said marketable title.
I don't know. But I do know what the OP posted in the initial post. He said, if you had read the post, that they did not tell him it had a salvage title. Apparently, he was not put on notice, either in writing or verbally, about the salvage title. It is now a moot point, however, since the OP has stated that he would have bought it anyway with the salvage title.
