Help with buying a new shank
Don’t want to screw this up since I have a trip planned this Thursday! I bought a new (used) truck and need 4” more inches, new truck sits 4” lower in the rear. I’ll attach pics if my current setup...

But turns out tailgate clearance was a problem with different trailer. Had to also get with longer shank. Camping World wanted a week to order in what I needed. Someone told me to try this RV place. Counter person in parts (been there for years) very knowledgeable although is not very friendly. Take pic's with you...And only place that had what I needed in stock. Local U-Haul place had tools big enough to torque.

OK, thanks for the info, kinda what i'm looking for, real world experience like the tailgate in the way. Would have never thought of that. I know there are possibly a lot of variables with something like this and i'm kinda new to the TT WD hitch scene. I had already looked at etrailer before posting this, just hope someone dialed in could give me a definitive answer.
