We had a KZ Spree 289KS with which we were generally happy. I would consider KZ a "middle of the road" brand. We were generally happy with it. It did develop some leak issues. The rear slide leaked in 2 different spots. This was a common problem for KZ rear slides due to poor design. I believe they eventually stopped making this unit. In addition the fresh water filler tube split and leaked upon filling it up. I did end up resetting 3 windows, one of which had leaked. This is not a problem unique to KZ.
Windows of this type are held in place using compression, with the main portion being inserted from the outside. There is an inside frame that is attached to the outer half using screws. Keep an eye on area just above the window on the outside. If it looks like the window has sagged a bit, it's time to reset.
The only other problem we had with our trailer was with the drawer slides. KZ went cheap with these. The ends of the slides were plastic, most of which cracked.
I hope this doesn't sound too negative. It's easier to remember the bad than the good. We did enjoy our trailer. I got rid of it when I spent more time fixing it than using it.
