Help with generators
Hello all, I would like to buy a generator to power my rv, or my house in case of emergency, just to power fridge and heater and some lights. What size would be recommended? Thanks!

In general you will need a 3000w generator to run the RVs AC. We have a older Champion 3500/4000 that you can pick up for $300 new and it's great for everything but running it in a campground. There it is just too noisy and a inverter generator will be the better choice. A 3000w inverter starts at $800 for the Champion 3100i and goes to around $2000 for the Honda or Yamaha versions.
