That's a fairly broad generalization. I've used an RV in extremely cold conditions and was not "bombarded" with issues. It's more about being prepared and having a setup that will work in the cold.
I can't help the OP about Evergreen trailers but his plan sounds a bit off-centered to me. I can't envision a need for a mobile office but not mobile residency. If it's just for an office, buy a storage trailer and insulate the heck out of it.
