Yeah it does get rather silly on a RV forum when you ask a weights question with the lawsuit myth and ya' gotta' have a one ton to pull a trailer or a 1/2 ton is just a grocery getter.
The F250 will have no issues pulling the TT in your OP nor will it have any issues pulling its tow rating nor carry weight up to the trucks 6100 RAWR/tire capacities. Front axle doesn't carry much if any weight with a bumper pull or a GN/5er.
Some say get a F350 SRW. The neat thing about a F250, or any '00s 3/4 ton is the owner can install higher rated tires/wheels and air bags or similar rear suspension help and have the same load carrying capabilities as the one ton SRW.
You sure don't need a one ton DRW for that job unless your into over kill.
