I agree there are far more F250s out there than max tow F-150s.
No way in heck you are going to stay under 1k lbs TW and Passengers on a 28-30 Ft TT loaded up for camping.
Figure out the trailer first then the truck. The ecoboost is a great tow vehicle just make sure you get as much payload capacity as you can. Get as long of a wheelbase as possible too.
That being said, sometimes a 3/4 or 1 ton truck is a better choice. There are just so many variables.
