I would not feel safe pulling anything bigger than maybe a 24-26 foot trailer up to around 7500lbs with a F150 truck. You hear of alot folks doing it but for me it just would not be safe.
I guess I am just too chicken or too old school maybe...
I guess the Ford Expedition is considered a 3/4-ton truck. Having a good WDH system would be a MUST HAVE item.
My OFF-ROAD POPUP weighs in at 4200lbs loaded and my 2010 FX4 F150 truck with tow package doesn't know it is back there. Of course the POPUPs don't have any wind resistance per say... My gas mileage is about the same whether I am pulling this trailer or not...
