I would think it could be an issue as well. I've used both a HA and a PP and they are great hitches, but you avoid the bump by properly dialing in your TT brakes. Since your TT brakes are triggered by the "normal" brakes, nothing would cause your TT brakes to engage and the TT would come forward (ever so slightly) when the EB slows your truck and cause the "bump".
